Depart from the Center at 10am and travel to Watkins Glen, NY - Travel time is approximately 1 1/2 hours with no rest stop.  Arriving in Watkins Glen at 11:30am, we will be taken to Captain Bill's Seneca Lake Cruises for a luncheon cruise with entertainment. 

Be ready for a “Groovin’ 60’s & 70’s luncheon cruise from noon to 2:00pm.

A meal entree option is required. Choices are:

  • Apple & Brie Stuffed Chicken Breast
  • Roast Beef with Gravy
  • Scallop & Crab Stuffed Sole
  • Eggplant Parmesan

You will then be on your own until we depart at 2:15pm, arriving back at the Center at 4:30pm.

Departing the Center at 7:00am, we will travel to East Earl, Pennsylvania in approximately 3 1/2 hours.  A rest stop on own will be made en route.  We will arrive at Shady Maple Smorgasbord complex at 11:00am.  There you will have time to shop/browse the gift shop and farmers market before, as well as, following the included lunch buffet from 11:30am - 1:00pm.  Reboarding the motorcoach at 1:30pm, we travel to Strasburg, Pennsylvania for the 3:00pm afternoon matinee of "Queen Esther". 

After the show, we will reboard the motorcoach and depart for home at approximately 5:45-6:00pm.  A fast food rest stop on own will be made en route home; arriving back to the Center around 10:30pm.

*** Bar Harbor - Portland, Maine ***

Sunday, September 12 - Thursday, September 16         

Sunday:  Day 1  -  Depart the Center at 6:00am.  We will be traveling to Bar Harbor, Maine, travel time is approximately 9 hours.  Rest stops will be made as needed.  A lunch stop on own will be made en route to Freeport, Maine, arriving in Bar Harbor at 5:00pm.  We will be taken to the Bar Harbor Regency Hotel for the next two nights.  After check-in and settling in your room, dinner will be included at the hotel with the rest of the evening free.

Monday:  Day 2  -  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before we depart for a guided tour of Acadia National Park.  Lunch will be included at Jordan Pond House located in the park.  Following lunch and tour, we will have free time to explore Bar Harbor and then return to the hotel.  Included tonight, we will enjoy a traditional Maine lobster bake.  Other dinner options are steak or haddock.  After dinner we will  return back to the hotel for a free evening.

Tuesday:  Day 3  -  A breakfast is included this morning before we will depart for Portland, Maine - travel time is 4 1/2 hrs.  On our way, a stop will be made at the Maine Prison Showroom for shopping.  We will then reboard the motorcoach and continue traveling to Boothbay Harbor where we will have lunch on own with free time in the waterfront  area.

Afternoon will have us boarding for a cruise on Linekin Bay for a lobster trap hauling and seal watch. Following the cruise, we continue to Portland.   Enjoy an included dinner tonight en route to Bailey’s Island to enjoy a lobster choice dinner.  Following dinner, we will continue to Portland to check into our accommodations for the next two nights at the Hyatt Place Hotel.  Check in and the remainder of the evening is free to enjoy and relax.

Wednesday:  Day 4  -  A breakfast is included this morning and then a local step-on guide will meet us for a guided tour of Portland including the Portland Head Light and the Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse.  Lunch will be on own in Old Port Portland, before we board the Maine Narrow Railroad for a scenic train ride.  Reboard the motorcoach and return back to the hotel to freshen up, before we travel to Dimillo’s on the water for an included dinner.  (Dimillo’s is a unique Portland Harbor Front restaurant.)  Return back to the hotel mid-evening.

Thursday:  Day 5  - After an included breakfast, we will depart for home, stopping at Maine’s southernmost lighthouse in Cape Neddick at Nubble Lighthouse for a photo and then shopping time at Stonewall Kitchens.  Our lunch stop will be in Palmer, Massachusetts to enjoy an included lunch at the Palmer Union Station Restaurant.  A fast food rest stop on own will be made en route. 

We will arrive home at approximately 7:00pm.

Dave Rehrig is a Conway Twitty tribute artist. Dave started singing Conway songs when he was 20 years old and even today he gets comments that he sounds just like Conway and has his moves and personality. As you listen to Dave singing Conway's #1 hits, from Hello Darlin' to It's Only Make Believe, his voice and gestures will make you feel like you're at a Conway Twitty concert.  Elena Mac will faithfully portray Loretta Lynn. Her tribute covers various material from Loretta’s long and successful career. You won't want to miss this show!!

Depart from the Johnson City Senior Center at 9:00am.  Travel to Jim Thorpe, Pa (approximately 2 hrs.)  No rest stop will be made enroute.  Arrive in Jim Thorpe at approximately 11am.  We will then be taken to Penn's Peak for an included luncheon show.  A family-style lunch meal including their popular Penn's Peak pot roast will be served at 12 noon.  Following lunch, the afternoon entertainment - "Branson Fever - Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn Tribute" begins.  The show will run approximately 1 - 3pm.  You will be on your own until the conclusion of the show.

We  will depart for home approximately at 3:30pm.  A dinner rest stop will be made on own en route home.  Arrive back in Johnson City at 7:00pm.

John Denver emerged onto the ’60s folk scene, climbed to ’70s superstardom and enjoyed a blazing career throughout the ’80s and ‘90s.  This nostalgic musical tribute features Denver’s greatest hits such as “Country Roads,” “Rocky Mountain High,” “Annie’s Song,” “Leavin’ On A Jet Plane” and many more. Denver was a humanitarian, activist and even poet laureate.  Almost Heaven will most definitely put some sunshine on your shoulders.

Depart from the Center at 9:00am and travel to Skaneateles, New York with a rest stop en route.  Upon arrival at approximately 11:00am our group will be taken to a central location in the village for time to enjoy lunch on own.  We will reboard the bus at 1:00pm and will be taken to the Merry-Go-Round playhouse for the scheduled 2:00pm afternoon matinee performance of "Almost Heaven, the Songs of John Denver".  At the conclusion of the show, we will depart for home at 4:45pm.  A fast food rest stop on own will be made en route home, arriving at the Center at 7:00pm.

Per the venue: All guests MUST bring proof of vaccination or proof of a negative Covid test 5-7 days prior to arrival. Anyone that does not have this will not be allowed on the bus that day.

When fall comes to Hawley, the scenery transforms, bringing brilliant fall colors and crisp air, surrounded by the beauty of the Poconos – it’s the perfect backdrop for celebrating Oktoberfest. Located in Hawley on the shores of scenic Lake Wallenpaupack.  With fall comes celebration, and one of the season’s most iconic events is Oktoberfest. Pennsylvania’s history and culture have strong German ties, so it’s only fitting that the Oktoberfest celebrations in the state are some of the best. Welcome the arrival of cool weather and fall foliage with Bavarian food, beer, music, and traditional garb – Oktoberfest celebrations are fun for everyone!

Departing from the Center at 9:00am, we will travel to Hawley, Pennsylvania arriving there at 11:00am.  On the waterfront at Silver Birches "Germanfest" will take place which includes activities, lunch and entertainment.  A welcome reception begins our day followed by a strudel making demonstration by the chef.  Make your own pretzel activity and music/dancing with "The Joe Lastovica Band from 11:15am - 12:30pm.  There will be an open bar of beer, wine and soda from noon-3:00pm.  At 12:30pm, a family-style lunch meal will be served.  There will be time for dancing from 2:00-2:30pm followed by the German show with the band from 2:30-3:30pm.  After an included snack, you will be on your own until we depart for home at 4:00pm .  We will arrive back at the Center at 5:30pm.

Enjoy this tribute to the Queen and King of modern Country Music as Becca Bongiorno and Tim Sells delight you in their realistic looks and sounds that have them delighting audiences all over the United States!

Departing from the Center at 9:00am, we will travel to Callicoon, New York, arriving there at 10:15am.  Arriving at the Villa Roma Resort, our group with enjoy a welcome reception and then have free time to enjoy resort activities.  Our included lunch will be from noon - 1:30pm.  The is a choice for meal entree:  Roast Loin of Pork    Chicken Parmigiana    Flounder Francaise.  The afternoon entertainment begins the show "Tribute to Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers" from 1:45-3:00pm.  After the show, you will be on your own until departure at 3:30pm  when we depart for home.  We will arrive back at the Center at 5:00pm.

Shadows of the Sixties pays tribute to the tremendous legacy of Motown’s Super Groups, in a salute to the legendary stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Four Tops, the Temptations and many more. Along with their renditions of Motown hits, enjoy their soulful takes on your favorite Holiday Classics!

Departing from the Center at 9:00am, we will travel to Callicoon, New York, arriving there at 10:15am.  Arriving at the Villa Roma Resort, our group with enjoy a welcome reception and then have free time to enjoy resort activities.  Our included lunch will be from noon - 1:30pm.  The is a choice for meal entree:  Roast Turkey    Leg of Lamb    Shrimp Scampi.  Our afternoon entertainment will be "Holiday Tribute to Motown" from 1:45-3:00pm.  After the show, you will be on your own until departure at 3:30pm  when we depart for home.  We will arrive back at the Center at 5:00pm.

Sunday - Thursday, December 5-8

Sunday:  Day 1  -  Depart the Center at 8:00am.  A rest and lunch stop on own will be made en route to Stowe, Vermont.  Arrival time is approximately 3:00pm at the Trapp Family Lodge for the next three nights.  After checking and settling in your room, at night a three-course dinner will be included in the Lodge main dining room.  Enjoy a free evening at the lodge.

Monday:  Day 2  -  Enjoy a country breakfast buffet at the Lodge followed by a day of touring with a local tour guide.  Our first stop will be at Morse Maple Sugar Farm.  We will then journey to Montpelier for lunch on own and then have a tour of the Capitol Building.  An afternoon stop will be at The Cabot Cheese Annex before returning to the lodge.  An included afternoon tea is waiting for us when we return to the Lodge. 

Tonight is a dinner buffet in the new “Bierhall”, overlooking the brewery where their own craft beers are made.  The rest of the evening is free.

Tuesday:  Day 3  -  A country breakfast buffet is included this morning before we enjoy a tour of the Lodge with an overview of the family followed by a documentary film.    After the film, we will depart for the village of Stowe for strolling and lunch on own.  After lunch, we will go to Ben & Jerry’s for a tour of the ice cream factory - coming away with a sample. 

Return to the Lodge for included afternoon tea.  Tonight we will enjoy an included three-course dinner in the main dining room.  A free evening will follow.

Wednesday:  Day 4  -  Enjoy a country breakfast buffet before departing at 9:00am for home.  A rest and lunch stop will be made en route at a local area restaurant. 

We will arrive home at approximately 5:00pm.
