1-- Wii (pronounced Wee) Sports: Discover the fun and excitement of virtual sports. There's bowling, boxing, baseball, golf, and tennis, that will remind you of the actual games you used to be able to play. Now you can play these on the TV set with a hand held activator, sitting down if you have to. Aside from fond old memories, this is great for eye and hand coordination and gets your arms moving. 3-- Tai-chi: Relieve stress, improve balance, increase flexibility, and promote wellness. Tai- Chi is gentle exercise originating in ancient China. Regular practice improves the immune system, increases coordination, decreases blood pressure, increases muscle tone and more. Specifically designed with seniors in mind. Joyce Kopansky, instructor. No registration required.
4-- Stay Fit and Well is an exercise program sponsored by the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). It is stretching and light aerobics. Sessions will be held once a week. There is no charge and the weights are provided, however; a physician's permission is required to participate. Register at your first class.
5-- The Ladies Singing Group is newly established. All women are welcome. Join us for the joy of singing. No registration required.
6-- Beginner Gentle Yoga: Joyce Kopansky instructor. This gentle exercise program will help improve your flexibility and strength. Its modified movements will allow you to work at your pace and increase as your body begins to adapt. You will not be expected to bend in half, reach backwards to the ground or any other contorted position. It is gentle! A limited number of yoga mats are available for use at the center. Join anytime.
