Tall Ships Sail into Boston

Tanglewood Concert

July 8-11

Day 1

Arrive in Boston for a visit to the New England Aquarium with it’s extensive collection that features the exotic and familiar. After the visit we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and then fireworks welcoming the Tall Ships in Boston Harbor. Then on to the Hampton Inn, Woburn, just outside of Boston.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel, then on to the New England Aquarium’s catamaran to look for Humpback, Minke and Right Whales. After the trip, we head to Quincy Market for lunch on your own.  Return to hotel with dinner at a local hotel.

Day 3

The group visits Harvard University for a guided tour of Harvard Yard. After the tour, the group will visit the Harvard Museum of Natural History to see the world famous “Glass Flowers” Exhibit. A 45-minute guided tour will showcase this unique collection of over 3,000 glass models. Next, we'll have lunch and cruise aboard the Spirit of Boston seeing the tall ships up close and personal in the Boston harbor. Depart Boston for Springfield overnight at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Tanglewood and the morning concert. After the concert, enjoy a picnic lunch at nearby Chesterwood before departing for home.
